Alachua County Emerging Leaders Dinner Event

Each year the Alachua County Emerging Leaders (ACEL) holds their annual dinner meeting.  This year’s event was held at Sweetwater Branch Inn with entertainment from locally renown singer/musician Michael Claytor.  Since their go-to photographer was unavailable that evening, they asked me to photograph the event.  Sweetwater did not disappoint with a lovely, as always, backdrop for this lively and friendly bunch.

About a year ago, I attended a fashion show at Belk in The Oaks Mall.  The models for the show were girls who attended the PACE Center for Girls, and the show was organized by the Junior League of Gainesville New Member class.  This year, I was a part of the New Member class and helped organize the show and raise money to benefit the PACE center.  One of our fund raisers included a raffle, where I donated a portrait session.  And Sheila Spence was the lucky winner!

She wanted to do a session with her dog in her stunning backyard garden.  Enjoy…
