Amanda & Alex were married at the beautiful Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club on a gorgeously mild winter evening.  I felt so honored to photograph their special day.  They have become wonderful friends, and their relationship was beautiful to photograph.  I have photographed Amanda a few times before, at their engagement session, Katelyn & Kyle’s Wedding, and a Graduation Session with her friends.

The combination of a gorgeous venue, and people who mean so much to me, resulted in way too many favorite images.  So this wedding will be split into two posts.  Stay posted for more!

Here in Florida, it’s currently 75° with a projected high of 80°.  It doesn’t really feel like Christmas to me.  I love being snuggled up by a fire with my hubby during the holidays.  While I am thankful that we don’t have to worry about dealing with snow and ice, a little chill in the air would be nice.  Either way, I’m going to enjoy a few days of celebrating the holidays with my family and in-laws.  I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday with your friends and family this year – where ever you are, whatever the temperature!  :)

And here is the front and back of the cards that went out to past and current clients.  These had a hole at the top with a ribbon so they hang on the tree as ornaments.  Chevrons are big right now, and I couldn’t resist using them on both cards.  :)

Timothy & Sonoko had a beautiful small wedding in the small town of Live Oak last week.  Sonoko’s family lives in Japan, so they decided to have two ceremonies, one in Timothy’s hometown of Live Oak, and one in Japan.

I love the following series of Sonoko putting on her American bridal gown and feeling the excitement of the moment.   :)

Sonoko’s mom wore a beautiful traditional kimono for the wedding.  I loved their interaction as Sonoko was getting ready.

Timothy’s father is the priest and married Timothy and Sonoko that day.

Sonoko’s mother performed a beautiful traditional Japanese Fan Dance during the reception.

Sonoko changed into a gorgeous Japanese kimono before the toasts.

Sunday afternoon weddings have a certain appeal to me.  They are often laid back and have a more intimate feel. Amber & Kevin were married on a Sunday afternoon at The White Room in Saint Augustine, Florida.  The ceremony was small and beautiful, while the reception was a great party with incredible food (french toast and bacon? yes please!).  They even rented a horse and carriage to ride off in from the reception.  To which, at Amber’s request, we rode around Saint Augustine for some portrait time with just the two of them.  Stay tuned for a peek at those!

Amber’s maid of honor was her sister, Andrea, who’s wedding I shot in the spring of this year. Hi Andrea!

Andrea & Justin were married in the Rosen Plaza Hotel in a touching ceremony. Andrea’s sister, Amber, serenaded the couple in two beautiful solos during the ceremony.

I loved this sweet shot of Amber as she walked down the aisle. She and her fiance are also getting married later this year. You can see her fiance already standing at the altar with the other groomsmen.

Abigail & Matt were married earlier this month in a beautiful ceremony that included a few personal touches, including a slideshow of them as children, and throughout their relationship (they’re high school sweethearts!).  Here are a few from their day.  Check back though, I’ll be posting some details here soon.
