Each year the Alachua County Emerging Leaders (ACEL) holds their annual dinner meeting.  This year’s event was held at Sweetwater Branch Inn with entertainment from locally renown singer/musician Michael Claytor.  Since their go-to photographer was unavailable that evening, they asked me to photograph the event.  Sweetwater did not disappoint with a lovely, as always, backdrop for this lively and friendly bunch.

One of my favorite restaurants is The Great Outdoors in High Springs.  The building has a long history in the community, and was recently renovated and reopened in 2007.  The Opera House is an event space operated by the same owners as The Great Outdoors.  The Opera House was originally built in 1895 and has been restored to a modern reception/event/meeting place.
