Graduation

May 12, 2010

All four of these lovely ladies graduated from the University of Florida this spring with graduate degrees.  To commemorate the occasion, and their friendship, before they move to different areas of the country and on with their lives (*sniff*sniff*) they wanted to do a graduation session together.  I’ve gotten to know these ladies for various reasons and they are some of the sweetest people I know.  I had such a great time with them that evening, I stayed with them and shot much later than I’d planned.  We were having that much fun!

We started at the University of Florida football stadium – The Swamp!

We had to stop for some Mochi to re-fuel before finishing up downtown.

You may recognize Katelyn from the blog (third from the left).  Her wedding was last August and her sister, Abigail’s wedding was just last month!

And… I’m still too excited… Amanda (far left) just got engaged last night!!  Congrats Amanda and Alex I’m so happy for you!

Sheila & Suri

March 31, 2010

About a year ago, I attended a fashion show at Belk in The Oaks Mall.  The models for the show were girls who attended the PACE Center for Girls, and the show was organized by the Junior League of Gainesville New Member class.  This year, I was a part of the New Member class and helped organize the show and raise money to benefit the PACE center.  One of our fund raisers included a raffle, where I donated a portrait session.  And Sheila Spence was the lucky winner!

She wanted to do a session with her dog in her stunning backyard garden.  Enjoy…
